The ThinkSystem SR645 V3 packs a two-socket AMD EPYC 9004/9005 platform into 1U. With 12 memory channels per processor and PCIe 5.0 support, it is aimed at dense virtualisation, VDI, analytics and HPC nodes.
This configuration is supplied with one AMD EPYC 9015 (8 cores, 3.6 GHz, 125 W) and a 32 GB TruDDR5 RDIMM, a modest starting point that can be built out to two processors with up to 160 cores each and 6 TB of memory across 24 DIMM slots.
