The ThinkSystem DE4200H 2U12 is an entry-level block storage system for businesses that want shared, highly available storage for virtual machines, databases, video and backup targets without the complexity of a large array.

Two active-active controllers share the load and mirror their cache, so a controller can be replaced without taking storage offline. The 2U enclosure holds twelve 3.5-inch drives and can be mixed with SSDs for a hybrid layout.
