The IBM FlashSystem 5015 is IBM's entry block-storage array, packaging two active/active controllers and the drives in a single 2U enclosure. This ready-made configuration uses 2.5-inch SAS hard drives for affordable general-purpose capacity.

The 24-bay small-form-factor chassis leaves room to add drives later, and expansion enclosures can be attached as data grows. It mounts in a standard 19-inch rack.
