HPE Aruba Networking USB LTE Modem (Cat 12) R8F34A

HPE's own USB LTE modem adds a cellular uplink to HPE Aruba Networking access points, SD-Branch gateways and EdgeConnect SD-WAN gateways without third-party compatibility testing. In most carrier environments it works without any configuration and can act as the primary WAN link at a pop-up site or as backup for a branch or home office.

• LTE Cat 12: up to 480 Mbps down / 150 Mbps up on FDD, 430 / 90 Mbps on TDD, with 2- and 3-carrier downlink aggregation • Global bands: 23 FDD and 4 TDD LTE bands plus WCDMA fallback • GNSS: GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, Galileo and QZSS • Hardware: two internal antennas, one micro or nano SIM (push-push), USB 2.0 plug that swivels 270 degrees and 90 degrees, 3.5 W maximum

Supported hosts include AP-303H through AP-655 and AP-7xx models, 9004/9012/9106/7000 series gateways and EC-10104, EC-XS, EC-10106, EC-10108 and EC-S-P appliances. It can be managed through HPE Aruba Networking Central, Orchestrator or on-premises AirWave. An optional 5 m USB extender (R8G76A) helps place the modem where the signal is stronger. Carrier certified by AT&T and Verizon.
