The Cisco Wireless CW9172I is an indoor Wi-Fi 7 (802.11be) access point for low- to moderate-density spaces such as branch offices, clinics, shops, hotels and student housing. One global SKU covers all regulatory domains.

• Three Wi-Fi 7 radios: 2.4, 5 and 6 GHz, each 2x2, or a 4x4 5 GHz mode when 6 GHz is disabled • PHY data rates up to 9 Gbps with 320 MHz channels, 4096-QAM and Multi-Link Operation • Dedicated scanning radio and a BLE 6 IoT radio • 1 x 100M/1G/2.5G multigigabit uplink, RJ-45 console and a 4.5 W USB 2.0 port • Runs fully on 802.3at PoE+; integrated omnidirectional antennas

The access point can be managed from the Meraki cloud dashboard or by Cisco Catalyst 9800 wireless controllers, and requires a Cisco Wireless Essentials or Advantage subscription. It measures 20 x 20 x 5.3 cm, weighs 874 g and uses the AIR-AP-BRACKET-1 or -2 ceiling mounts. Cisco provides a limited lifetime hardware warranty.
