The Meraki MG52 turns a 5G signal into a wired Ethernet uplink for any router or SD-WAN appliance, so a branch can run on cellular as its main connection or keep it as a failover path. Its modem handles both 5G standalone and non-standalone networks in the sub-6 GHz range and falls back to LTE Cat 20 with carrier aggregation.
• Throughput: up to 2 Gbps down / 300 Mbps up in passthrough mode • Carrier choice: two nano-SIM slots plus an embedded eSIM, with automatic SIM failover • Ports: two 2.5 GbE RJ45 ports, one of them convertible between LAN and WAN • Power: 802.3at PoE+ or a 12 V DC adapter, 16 W maximum draw
The sealed IP67 enclosure and the supplied mounting plate let you place the unit on a wall, ceiling or pole where reception is best, indoors or outside. Configuration, signal readings (RSRP, RSRQ, ICCID, IMEI) and firmware updates are handled from the Meraki cloud dashboard. A Meraki MG license is needed and is sold separately.
