The MegaRAID 9670W-16i is the wide, x16 member of Broadcom's 9600 RAID family. Its SAS4116W RAID-on-Chip uses a full PCIe 4.0 x16 host link, giving extra bandwidth for parity RAID and fast rebuilds on large NVMe or 24G SAS arrays.

The full-height card measures 167.52 x 111.15 mm and draws around 28 W, so it needs a full-height x16 slot with adequate airflow. Hardware Secure Boot, SPDM attestation and SafeStore SED key management are built in, and it is managed with LSI Storage Authority, StorCLI2 or UEFI HII.
