The Brocade XBR-000412 is a single short-wavelength (SWL) 32Gb/s Fibre Channel optic qualified by Broadcom for Brocade Gen 6 and Gen 7 SAN switches and directors.
• 850 nm VCSEL transmitter over multimode fibre, FC-PI-6 compliant • Auto-senses 8, 16 and 32G FC (8.5 / 14.025 / 28.05 Gb/s line rates) • 32G reach: 20 m on OM2, 70 m on OM3, 100 m on OM4 or OM5 • Industry-standard LC duplex connector, 3.3 V, 1.0 W dissipation • Digital diagnostics per SFF-8472: Tx/Rx power, laser bias, temperature and voltage
The module is a Class 1 eye-safe laser product and RoHS compliant. Broadcom also offers the same optic as an 8-pack (XBR-000413). Check the Brocade Transceiver Support Matrix for your switch and FOS release before ordering.
