The ASUS RS300-E12-PS4 is a compact 1U rack server barebone built around a single LGA1700 socket and the Intel C262 chipset. It accepts Intel Xeon E-2400 and Xeon 6300 series processors, making it a sensible platform for file serving, small virtualisation hosts, branch-office infrastructure and dedicated application servers.
You supply the CPU, memory and drives; the chassis provides everything else, including a single 350 W 80 PLUS Gold power supply, Aspeed AST2600 graphics and on-board ASMB11-iKVM for out-of-band management.
